Nigeria, a leading country for solar lighting development, has been investing for several years in large-scale solar lighting projects.
Our partner Schneider Electric Nigeria teamed up with Greenelec, a leading Nigerian player, in the realisation of a road lighting project using the latest addition to our range: the iSSLmaxi4. This floor lamp offers uniform (>0.4) and powerful lighting with a maximum of 15lux on the ground along Owerri’s main axis.
In addition, the fact of having autonomous solar products allowed significant savings compared to a traditional lighting which would have required a very expensive connection to the network
